Women have abortions for many reasons. If you are considering a termination of pregnancy, you need to be equipped to make an informed decision. There are many misconceptions about abortion, and our qualified staff will help you by providing free information and counseling.

Professional Abortion Services
Our patients receive experienced, professional care in a warm, comfortable and caring environment. Although A Choice for Women strives to maintain reasonable costs, we never cut corners on the care we provide, and free follow up visits are offered to ensure continuity of quality care. All procedures are performed by a physician certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and anesthetics are administered by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Patients have the choice of general anesthesia or local anesthesia, or of having a Medical Abortion. Patients choosing the non-surgical method will be given Mifeprex (RU-486) The Early Option Pill. This method is available to patients within the first 49 days of pregnancy, and who reside in the South Florida area.

Free Pregnancy Testing
We provide free pregnancy testing, even to those who do not plan to have an abortion. We also provide free counseling to help you make the right decision.

Free Counseling
We provide free counseling service to assist you in making important decisions based on your circumstances. We help alleviate your fears and ensure that you have a positive experience and enhanced self respect. Counseling is open to individuals, couples, family members and interested friends. We provide information on all aspects of abortion procedures, birth control, and alternative options. Our counselors are available 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.

Clinic Patient, Private Patient, or Exclusive?
As a Clinic patient, you will receive superior medical attention, in a warm, caring setting. You will be with other patients both before and after the procedure.

Our special Private service is used by patients that request to have a private recovery room, and/or wish to have their friend or family member to be with them in their room prior to and following the procedure. These rooms are booked in advance, and are at an additional fee.

Exclusive service is used by those patients requesting a “closed clinic”. It provides the patient, and those accompanying her with maximum privacy and security. There will not be any other patients present, and staff contact will be reserved to only those necessary to provide for the patient’s care. As confidentiality can be an important issue to some patients, we offer this suggestion to those needing to protect their identity, or simply to make this day easier by not being seen or recognized by other patients and their friends or family.
